Story
As a licensed marriage and family therapist (CA #137733), my approach is collaborative, empathetic, and nonjudgmental. I’ve spent years honing my skills and understanding diverse psychological landscapes, equipping me to help you through various challenges. My educational journey began with a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University, Santa Barbara, where I immersed myself in evidence-based treatments tailored to individual needs.
With extensive experience in the mental health field, I've worked with individuals facing a myriad of challenges, including anxiety, trauma, eating disorders, and substance use. My journey has included roles as a school counselor for underserved youth and an in-home therapist for at-risk adults, where I developed a deep appreciation for the transformative power of therapy.
Before I transitioned to becoming a therapist, I spent 18 years in admissions at the Monte Nido Treatment Center for eating disorders. This experience enriched my understanding of mental health and fueled my passion for helping others. My diverse background allows me to connect with clients from all walks of life, guiding them toward healing and self-discovery.
